UKIE figures show how greatly UK developers have contributed to the phenomenal sales of Microsoft games made for Kinect.
The numbers show that a whopping 42% of all Xbox 360 Kinect titles were developed in Britain.
UKIE director general Michael Rawlinson commented,
“The array of strong products that our home-grown, UK talent is producing is something we can all be proud of.”
“This just shows how our UK developer base remains one of the best in the world, and can continue to step up to the plate as the market develops and platforms evolve.”
Kinect Sports (developed by Rare) remains the best selling game for Kinect, with Kinectimals (by Frontier Developments) another strong performer.
