Many of you have probably noticed a few small aesthetic changes taking place around XGZ. One of such changes was a revamp of our Team Page, where all the XGZ staff have their bios. We however didn’t want to stop at just words, we were eager for our readers to connect with us on a slightly more personal level, and get a sense of our characters. We wanted to have some pictures of us to go with the words.
I was tasked with finding an artist who could do this for us. Thankfully, i knew that deviantArt had some talented individuals, and started my search there. To make things interesting, we ran a mini competition (with the help of DeeNuke, a friend of XGZ) to help find some of that talent. Ultimately, we decided on the winner, whose submission can only be described as CUTE!
It is only fair that you all get to know a little bit more about the winning artist.

- What do you do? – currently studying English Philology
- Tell us about your art and influences: I’ve been always inspired by the japanese anime and manga… and the video game world. I love drawing chibis! All the things i see everyday…..any character, any game, I love to draw it in chibi style.
- Do you play any games? If so, what are your favourites? I’m a real fan of games like Assassin’s Creed, Final Fantasy, Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.
