Another day, and another rumour regarding the next Xbox console. This time, “industry sources” have apparently revealed to Kotaku that the next Xbox console will utilise Blu-ray technology, putting it on a level playing field with rival Sony’s offering.
The Kotaku report goes on to claim that Microsoft has plans to include an anti used game system into the console, which is also rumoured to ship with an updated version of the Kinect sensor, “Kinect 2″ if you will. The Kotaku source however couldn’t confirm how Microsoft intended to implement the anti-used game system in the new machine. As of right now, Microsoft are staying tight lipped about their next gen plans, and have refused to respond to our requests for official clarification beyond the usual “we do not comment on rumours or speculation.”
