Rainbow Six Patriots to utilise Kinect tech?

Online super sleuth “superannuation” has uncovered evidence of Ubisoft’s attempt to integrate Kinect tech into their upcoming tactical shooter, Rainbow Six Patriots.

A Tweet which links to the LinkedIn profile of John Y.C Lau (Game Designer at Ubisoft Montreal) shows his mission brief to be to “Design and lead the production of the XBOX 360 (version of the game) – Kinect features

He also uncovered a “Confidential Kinect Project” being worked on at the Ubisoft refelctions Studio by Joss Scouler (Art Lead at Reflections). Ubisoft has been eager and quick to embrace Kinect, with Ghost Recon: Future Soldier the next big franchise to be released with the functionality included (Gunsmith). Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot had previously mentioned at E3 2011 that all future Tom Clancy titles, starting with Ghost Recon Future Soldier, will have full Kinect functionality built in.
