The latest ChartTrack data this morning shows that EA published RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has debuted at the top spot of the UK All Formats charts. While the last new IP to reach number 1 was Dead Island, the last original RPG at the top of the charts was Pokemon Red, all the way back in 2000. Last week’s number 1, Final Fantasy XIII-2 slips to second place, with another new entry, The Darkness II debuting at number 3. The rest of the chart involves the usual suspects and ever presents; Modern warfare 3 closes the gap on Battlefield 3 for this week, Assassin’s Creed Revelations maintains a top 10 placing and Skyrim slips one more place to 9th.
