Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has just confirmed that the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed 3, is due to arrive on October 30th 2012. He made the statement as part of Ubisoft’s Investor call, claiming that the game has been in development for 3 years now. More details on the new game, its setting and characters can be expected very soon, kicking off in May of this year.
As part of its financial results for Q3 2011-2012, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Revelations shipped close to 7 million units, which slightly exceeded forecasts. The title was the industry 7th best seller in calendar 2011.
