I know, we are just as confused as you are. For starters, it is NOT an Indie bundle as the games contained within are NOT indie games. Mojang head, Markus “Notch” Persson seems to agree, taking to Twitter to lash out at EA in response to the announcement.
“EA releases an ‘indie bundle’? That’s not how that works, EA. Stop attempting to ruin everything, you bunch of cynical bastards.
Indies are saving gaming. EA is methodically destroying it.”
But anyway, about that bundle. It contains six games; Deathspank, Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue, Gatling Gears, Shank, Shank 2 and Warp. Each can be bought for 50% off, or 75% off if you purchase the whole bundle. To round off the confusion, the bundle is being promoted and released on Steam, not EA’s own service, Origin. We just don’t know anymore.
