The Microsoft opening E3 press conference has come to a close and while many expected the big news to be the new Kinect scheduled for release later this year MS pulled out an unsuspecting surprise on all as they announced their new Xbox360 slim, not only did they manage to keep the systems existence a secret until today’s conference but even more shocking it ships in the US tomorrow and hits the UK stores on 16^th of July at £199.00.

Play.com have already opened their site to orders while we spoke with Game shortly after the conference and they anticipate being ready to take pre orders by the weekend.
