The much publicised Kinect 3D camera peripheral will
be coming to Xbox 360 later this year, and today Microsoft have confirmed
pricing.Also revealed is a new SKU in
the Xbox range; a slimline Arcade unit, complete with onboard 4Gb flash memory
and a built in wireless adapter.
To the big question of price…Well, you can purchase yourself a shiny new, “whisper quiet”
Arcade unit as detailed above with Kinect and a copy of Kinect Adventures for
£249.99.If you’re doing fine on the
Xbox front, thank you very much, then you can buy Kinect on its own for
£129.99.Both Kinect and the new Arcade
Xbox 360 should be available for preorder from selected retailers as of today.
Come launch day, three of the fifteen announced Kinect
titles will be available, these are: Kinectimals, Kinect Sports and Kinect Joy
Ride, which will sell for a penny under forty quid each.
