Welcome to the XboxGameZone ‘Battle of the Sexes PT II’
So you’ve read the blurb and now you just want to know what its actually all about, what happens and how to enter?
The Battle of the Sexes is an event held to celebrate XboxGameZone’s birthday. As a community with a good portion of female gamers it’s as good an excuse as any to take the boys on and have some FUN!!
Across the week starting Friday 7th – Friday 14th September a variety of matches will be taking place on a range of Xbox Live titles. These matches will be organised based on player interested, in other words if we have enough male and female players to play a match on that game it WILL be played.
The Spirit of FUN is the centre of this event and whilst there is and will be a natural competitive nature to all matches as both the boys and girls will want their team to win the overall event this is with Fun in mind.
When each player signs up they will be asked among other things the games they are interested in playing and when they can play them. This information is sent to admin who will cross reference details to create the match schedules based on who wants to play and when.
Each match scheduled will detail the match date and time, the game it is set to take place on, the players for both teams and the host gamertag that all players within the team will need to add to their friends list* to accept the game invite. The host will be responsible for organising the room, players and recording the score, all you will need to do is be online when detailed and accept your invite.
Match listings will be detailed on a day to day basis and will be available for all to see well in advance.
It is the player’s responsibility to check the match schedules and ensure they know when they need to play.

*In the event your friends list is full and you are unable to make any space please send a text message across Xbox Live detailing which match you are taking place in to the match host. The host can then invite you via your profile.
